With a little effort, especially at the Convention Center, you could find purpose-built fishing boats worth going to the show for. The premier yacht show has always had the mega-yachts, but now it seems the show has all but excluded the average angler looking to find a trailerable, inexpensive center console. And several of them have show specials making it worth your while to go. And if you’re looking for boat accessories, electronics or just a fun day of people-watching, the show is worth the price of admission. Lauderdale Boat Show keeps getting bigger, by that I mean, bigger in the average boat size than in the footprint of the show.
