“We feel like we’re in kind of a perfect storm,” says Tim McKercher, media relations representative for Sea-Doo. The launch of the Sea-Doo Spark model in 2014 and the marketing campaign that went with that were all designed to go after the next generation of boaters. With the Spark, Sea-Doo identified its target and went after that buyer aggressively, designing the machine with fluorescent colors, sport lines and raised handlebars.
